On February 21, German time, Carbonstop stood out among over 430 applicants from 75 countries, successfully making it to the Global Corporate Energy Transition 2024 SET100 list, becoming one of the 100 best clean energy and climate technology companies in 2024.
SET (Start-Up Energy Transition) is a global innovation platform initiated by the German Energy Agency (dena) in 2016 with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWi). This initiative identifies leading startups in the fields of energy transition and climate protection and connects them with companies, investors, and other startups. The SET 100 list is part of the Start-up Energy Transition program initiated by the German Energy Agency (dena) and the World Energy Council, focusing on recognizing companies that demonstrate outstanding innovative technologies and business models in the fields of energy transition and climate protection.
Carbonstop, with its excellent technical products and unique business model, became the only company in the carbon service sector to be included in the SET100 list, demonstrating its leadership in the field of carbon management and highlighting the critical role of carbon management in addressing climate change issues. Huayou Energy also performed exceptionally well in renewable energy and energy efficiency improvements, contributing Chinese wisdom and solutions to global energy transition.
Both Carbonstop and Huayou Energy made it to the list, becoming the only two Chinese companies listed, showcasing China's innovative capabilities and significant achievements in the fields of energy transition and climate protection.
